Color Psychology offers us a  journey into a fantastic world of discovery of the self and of nature. You will be able to look for yourself in this work and study. See what you identify with and what seems strange and outlandish. Explore each color and see which shoe fits. Most of us have a favorite color that we find   we gravitate to, sometimes two.

     There are seven colors to the rainbow and we find that mankind is bestowed with seven inner mansions or in the bible they are referred to the mystery of the seven stars. Each color represents a perceptual level or level of awareness. Each level offers us a unique experiential world, a unique way of knowing ourselves and our environment and the people in it.

The Red Level = Physical Awareness

The Orange Level = Social Awareness

The Yellow Level = Intellectual Awareness

The Green Level = Emotional or Security Awareness

The Blue Level = Conceptual Awareness or Ideas

The Indigo Level = Intuitive Awareness

The Violet Level = Imaginative Awareness

     The above is called the Hills theory of consciousness and this work was preceded by the work of others especially Dr. Max Luscher who created the Luscher Color Test. Dr. Christopher Hills was a true genius in this area and entered territory, that to my best knowledge, no one has totally entered before. His theories and practices are called Nuclear Evolution; and this site offers a simplification of his work on Color Psychology.  I present this work because I see it as being totally fundamental to any opening to interdisciplinary knowledge and sharing. Knowing ones own rainbow body also is instrumental in deepening ones own self-knowledge as it reveals our major areas of perceptual blindness. We need to know the meaning and the context of all our thoughts and feelings and this natural map is universal, applicable to each and every human being. Ignore this information at your evolutionary peril! How you know what you know is crucial information, basic, fundamental and absolute in its laws and properties.
